Playstation 3 online?

i have a playstation 3 i am playing call of duty 4 online how do i make a 2 nd profile so that me and my friend can play on the same consol or how do i make it to were we can both play online at my house on same tv

its not possible to do 2 people, one tv, online on CoD

You have to make a whole new PSN account. On the PS3 home menu, go to "create new user", once you've made a new user, go sign up for PSN and go through the same progress as you did when making your first PSN account.
