1. you can do alot play games watch videos blue ray movies listen to music look a photos go online play against anyone download demos buy add-ons for games surf the web there are many things that PS3 can do and for that bootleg Luigi guy dont come and say PS3 is trash i own a Wii and i dont even play it

  2. go on the internet, watch dvd's, watch blu rays - listen t music and watch videos, and the games you can get are brilliant

  3. go on anything

  4. Watch Blu-ray and DVD movies. listen to music. browse the web. chat and text with people. play online games.

  5. What you can do if your online. You can go on the internet.

You can visit the Playstation shop on the computer. You can also download your music and pictures on to it.

    And play loads of games.

The best game when your online is Cod4 and it's the best.

  6. Luigi, shut up! Stop bashing a console you never even played.

You should tell us what model of PS3 you have, then we can tell you all the features. But you can play Blu-Ray movies, DVDs, import Audio CDs straight into your PS3, store media, browse the web, amazing graphics, controller has SIXAXIS motion-sensor, controller is rechargeable, and lots more. PS3 is great for an entertainment center.

  7. you can watch dvds save music save videos rent movies from the playstation store , play games there are also new features coming out this year like playstation home where u create ur own avatar and hang out with people online also there will b live tv n there will be news also

  8. Play games and you basically paid for a Blu Ray Player (HD DVD basically) which alone is worth like £150 so if you have a HD TV make sure you use it. Put music n videos on (you can listen to the music while playing) and you can buy like £5 games from the online store.

    It's a great console.

  9. You can put Music on it,Video's/Films, photo's , Play certain games online, play blu-ray discs, CD'S, DVD's, and if you bought a 20/60 or the 2007 80GB model you can play super audio CD'S, you can Play PS1/playstation games,if you live in america and bought a 60GB or a 20GB you can play ALL PS2 games, if you live in america and bought a 2007 80GB model or if you live in europe and bought a 60GB model in europe you can play SOME AND NOT ALL PS2 GAMES (around 75%-80% of all PS2 games with more games becoming available to play and playback quality better with software updates), if you bought a 40GB or 2008 80GB model in america or europe(which i think you have bought judging by the price you said) you can't play PS2 games at all, not even software updates will fix this because the playstation 2's hardware has been removed from the 40GB completely. you can also connect it to a HD TV using a HDMI cable which is sold seperately and you can connect it to an SD TV and all the equipment needed to connect to and SD TV is provided with the PS3 packaging(except for one piece of equipment which is only with the UK PS3'S), you can connect to the internet and play online and use a web browser and accsess the playstation network and playstation store if you have an ethernet cable( which is sold only with the 20,60 and 2007 80GB models only but can be bought in shops) which you connect to the back of the PS3 and the other end of the cable to a modem or you can connect wirelessy by changing the network settings to a wireless connection if your internet connection/modem supports this wireless feature(to find out if your internet connection supports the wireless feature, look at the manuels of your connection), you can also connect a digital audio device to the back of the PS3 such as an AV Receiver. if you have anymore questions about the PS3 ask/E-MAIL me.

  10. Browse the internet :P

  11. Hook it up to the internet! Play on-line, download demo's, browse the store. Get some blu-ray movies also.

  12. Watch Blu-Ray movies (or any other movies)

Buy/Rent movies off the Playstation Network

    Listen to music

    Look at your pictures

    Video Chat with your friends

    Audio Chat with your friends

    Browse the Internet

  13. The PS3 can: be an mp3 player (stores music, any kind of file) a video player, a blu ray dvd player, you can go to the internet (careful to not get a virus!) , could be a photoalbum, oyu could talk to people, you can record with the playstation eye. ther is also more stuff! so you are definetly getting your moneys worth. even if it didnt have all those features, couldnt play games, an dall it had was a blu ray player, you would still be getting your moneys worth, as the ps3 is the cheapest blu ray player on the market

  14. internet, meet me online/play online, watch/download videos, try out demos from the stores, custimize it the way you want, play music, play dvds in blu-ray quality....

  15. Basically you payed £300 for trash.

    Thumbs Down if You Agree!!!!

  16. Firstly ensure you have a HD television,

    secondly hook it up to the internet;

download some games, demoes and trailers from the Playstation online service called Playstation Network, also you can buy and rent films and tv series etc.

Thirdly you can add your pictures and movies and songs to it.

Fourthly buy some Blu-ray films as the PS3 is a blu-ray player.

  17. i know you got a ps3 which one the 40gb-60gb-80gb

the ps3 80gb is backwards compatible which mean you can play any ps1 are ps2 any movies blu-ray dvd movies hope this helps out :)ava06

  18. You can't get on the internet without a wireless router or ethernet cable long enough to connect to your internet modem. Make sure you have those.
