Playstation Blu-ray player?

Question

I am going to rent blu-ray movies and i have a playstation 3, but not a HD tv. can i still watch blu-ray movies on a nomal tv?

you should be able to get a signal if your able to play the games however the high def signal known as blu ray will be in a lower quality format

Yeah, it will work jsut like your Blue-Ray games still work on your TV. But, if you have to pay more money to rent a blue-ray instead of a regular dvd it doesnt make sense to spend more money. If you are buying them tho, it does make sense. That way when you have a High Def TV you can take advantage of the Blue-Ray.
