thanks billy, would a D-Link DIR-615 be a suitable device, and would i just plug it into a microfilter, on a free phone socket?

Just plug in your internet cable (must be ethernet RJ-45) into WAN plug. Configure router's settings on PC, establish connection on PS3 (follow PS3's manual).
