  1. For me Playtex Sport works 10x better. Tampax Pearl hurts coming out, for me at least haha.

  2. I use pearl. Get the one for lightdays. It's really small. Use it on a day when your flow isn't really light, so that it will have lots of help going in, lol. Then wear it up to eight hours.

You'll mess up a few times. It's normal. When it's in right, you won't feel it at all. In fact, it's so comfortable, you may have to remind yourself to remove it. :)

  3. for your first time, i think you should use the playtex gentle glide.  that's what i used my first time.  it has a really small applicator so its good for when you're first starting out :]

  4. i have used both kinds but i use playtex sport more and like them more,

I find they go in easier and give more coverage!

    Good Luck!

If i was you i would try both types or maybe even talk to your mom she might be able to help you out

    Hope this helps

    Jess

  5. Personally I think you should wait to use a tampon till you enter high school because if you don't follow the directions you can easily get an infection. Stick to pads for now!!!

  6. Well, I am 13 too. I got tampons so I could go to the beach and swim during the summer. If you are just starting out with them I would recommend using playtex gentle glide with a plastic applicator, the slender ones. Those come in lite and regular. Slim is better because it is easier [smaller] than the regular applicator. Playtex opens 360 degrees where as the tampax pearl platic applicator slender opens 180 degrees. You should try both to see which ones work better but go with playtex for now.

    [[in other words playtex sport!!!!!!!!]]

  7. well i use pearl but if you're in a sport they recommend Playtex sport

  8. im the same age n ive been using tampons 4 a while n been experimentin a bunch of brands n i did that experiment last month, in MY OPINION PLAYTEX SPORT: i think that playtex is very comfortable then again they are made for teens and for active women n hav a great applicator, but.... playtex sport only hav reg and super and not the best protection (then again thats wat liners r 4) n dont come in a varity of amount of tampons in box(jus 16).TAMPAX PEARL: tampax pearl can be uncomfortable most of the time n dont really hav a great applicator, i sumtimes hav to try puttin in a tampon over again, but pearl does hav better protection n i bearly use a liner if i wear them, also pearl has lites, super, reg., super plus, n compact in all those sizes (im pretty sure in all sizes...) and they hav boxes wit a little more tampons in it(20 more that sport!). but overall i go with playtex sport, im all 4 comfort n the easy, quick insert wit the applicator n i jus use always *dri*liners.

    hope i helped : )

  9. playtex sport works better for me. its just better then tampax pearl, those are small. but you need to experiment, see which you like better.

  10. Sport!  They feel better while they are in (the pearl string bothers be...i think its the leak guard string that they have, its just thick and uncomfortable)but i don't feel the sport...so this is my advice!

Good Luck, and be prepared for some struggles the first time you use a tampon period!  Key is don't pull it out every 20 min (unless you need to) bc its uncomfortable to pull it out if its dry!  When i was younger i guess i was just excited about tampons for whatever  reason, but i felt it was necessary to pull it out every time i went to the bathroom the first day or two...but you quickly learn...its NOT necessary!
