Pleas i need your help- algebra?

2.the sum of 2 con. odd integers is 112find integers?

3.find 3 con. odd integers such their sum is decrased by the seconds equals 50. Thanks! and would someone please explain? answer as many as you can.

  279 divided by 3 is 93    so you take one less which is 92 then one more 94 and you get the answer     92+93+94=279

112 divided by two is 56 so you take the odd number before it which is 55 (which is one less than 56) and the odd number after it 57 (which is one more) and you have 55+57=112

1. 92,93,94. in oder to get 279 the last 3 digits of the con. integers must equal 9. 2,3,4 equals 9. so we have the last numbers. since the are con we can assume that all the tens are in the same bracket, there fore 27 divided by 3 is 9, there fore the numbers are in their nineties therefore the numbers 92,93,94

1. x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 279.  Take x as the first integer, and the following 2 integers would be x + 1 and x + 2.

2. x + (x + 2) = 112.  Same thing, but assumes x is odd and x + 2 is the next odd integer.

3x+3=279

    -3=-3

3x=276

/3=/3

x=92

so if x=92 then x+1=93 & x+2=94

2. again x+x+2=112 since they are odd integers they will increase by 2

2x+2=112

    -2= -2

2x=110

/2= /2

x=55 and if x=55 then x+2 is 57

3. I dont understand what seconds is that power or how many seconds need more info i think. if not then i really just dont understand that one sorry

x + (x+1) + (x+2)=279

3x+3=279

3x=276

x=92

y=93

z=94

x + (x+1)+ (x + 2) = 279

3x = 3 = 279

3x = 276

x = 92

Therefore the three integers are 92, 93, and 94

2.  Use the same idea for this one, but since only odd numbers are applicable, use x + (x+2) = 112

2x + 2 = 112

2x = 112 - 2

2x = 110

x = 55, so the numbers are 55 and 57 (which do add to 112)

3.  Same general procedure

[x + (x+2) + (x + 4)] -(x+2) = 50

3x + 6  -x -2 = 50

2x + 4 = 50

2x = 46

x = 23

23 + 25 + 27 -25 = 50
