Pleas suggest a show to watch in London . Four year old included.?

We are travelling to london and we wanted to watch a show. Could you suggest any good ones that a four year old would be happy to sit through?

Also the price is a bit of a limiting factor too. How can we get cheap tickets but still be able to actually see the stage?

Most of what I think might entertain a 4 year old, is going to be something with plenty of colour, lost of movement and so forth.

Thankfully there are lots of musicals on in London at present.

Try the link below and when there, you can click on the name of a musical to find out what it's like [about] etc.  Do not take your 4 year old to see Cabaret - it is dark and unhappy.

High School Musical

Grease

Hairspray

Joseph

Lion King

They all have up beat track, bright colours and action on stange to keep even little people amused.

As for getting tickets, you can risk it and queue at a ticket agency, but then you gamble... otherwise, try contacting teh box offices to see if they have any tickets left.

A lot of theatres do good discounts if you go to a weekday matinee, tickets can start from £15!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!  Can get cheap tickets and is such a good show!!!!  Especially for the kids!!  My little bros who normally wouldnt dream of sitting down in a theatre for so long, were sat quiet eyes and mouths wide open the whole time! Even wanted the c.d at the end haha!  Alsao whenever we go to the theatre we always get the cheapest tickets and can always see the stage!  Whatever seats you get you will be fine!
