O kay so here's the deal: I have read a lot. A LOT a lot. I am starving for books dealing with the Fay/Fae/Faeries/Fairies (or however else you want to spell the word) Vampires, Werewolves and more! I'll briefly list the books I have read that come to immediate mind: Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, Book of Faerie, All of Holly Blacks books (Spiderwick, Tithe/ironside/ and the last one i can't remember), Peter Pan. I've read The entire Twilight series and what there is of the Blue Blood series. I've read all of the "Otherworld" series, some of Anne Rice's stuff, A Great and Terrible Beauty, and the other two that come after that one, etc... Blood and Chocolate, and the other one done by this author. City of Bones, Inkheart, bla bla bla...

Now, obviously this isn't A LOT but i am just naming them off on the top of my head.

I would appreciate it immensely if you could recommend a few books along the lines of these books. It doesn't just have to be those types of books either, I'm also crazy about "The ***** Goddess Notebook".

Of course, good Faerie books will win you the top spot so please please please help me. (And no love-y dove-y faeries! I'm talking about the Seelie/Unseelie Court kind) Who ever has the longest list of novels that all have something to do with these books, you win.

  1. The books I suggest have more adult themes but are great books

The Vampire Chronicles By Anne Rice

First read Interview With A Vampire(easy read)

Neil Gaiman has lots of great books on the supernatural fiction

Read Neverwhere or Good Omens first

I just bought the Graveyard book so I do not know about that one yet

Another good fantasy fiction series is Stephen King's Gunslinger books, starting with the Gunslinger, its short but will grab you.

    Have fun in book world!

  2. Not my preferred genre, but the ultimate vampire story "Bloodsucking Fiends" by Christopher Moore.  As well as his sequel "You Suck! (A Love Story)". ..  You will laugh until you cry.

    Vampires?  The original "Omega Man"

And anything by Lawrence Watt-Evans might suit your tastes. Start with "The Misenchanted Sword."

  3. Oh, just go to the library and stop whining. You're giving me a tumor.
