Please, I need your help! Is something wrong with my ear?

At first, I noticed it during Computer Programming. It felt like something blowing in my ear. But it felt like a heart beat. Like when you yawn, you're ears pop. I thought it was the AC being weird.

But later on the day, it kept doing that. And it got more and more painful. The beating at first was slow, but now its been "pumping" or "blowing" several times a minute. Its irritating and bothers me very much. I've never expeirenced this before.

I remember in middle school a teacher had the same thing, and it turned out a moth was stuck in her ear. (ew!)

Can you guys please help? The "beating" or whatever grows worse by the minute and is giving me headaches!

  1. I would go to the doctor and have them look in your ear. If something is in there, a bug or insect, they will be able to remove it. If it is sore and getting infected then they can give you a perscription for ear drops.

  2. When I yawn, my ears sometimes pop as well. But that's it.

I'd talk to your parents first, then preferably a pediatrician or family doctor.

  3. I suggest you go to the doctor and have him look at it .

  4. Have you been swimming lately?  If so, you may have "swimmer's ear".  I happens when too much bacteria gets inside of your ear, which may cause the "pumping" (or throbbing).  If it doesn't get better I would suggest going to the doctor to get a prescription, it will clear up with regular use.
