Say you was visiting Orlando, FL on vacation from Los Angeles--and you had to go back to your hometown the next day for work, then while you was in Orlando, FL you was issued a citation for not wearing your glasses and you was giving a court date (typical 30 days from the issued ticket) in Orlando: while you had to go back to Los Angeles in about 30 days, what will you have to do? Would the Orlando court foward the infomation to the L.A. court or will you have to make a trip back to Orlando to attend court?

  1. pay the fine and dont forget your glasses anymore

do a better job of faking eye test when getting license so it dont say you need glasses if you cant fake it you deserved the ticket

  2. Usually you can just pay the fine and be done with it.  Probably mail it in.  Call the courts down there to find out.

However, if they are actually insisting that you show up in court then you have to go.  LA will not handle it at all.  Has nothing to do with them.

  3. What cops don't tell you is that you CAN pick the state and city in which you what your court trial to be in. Next time when signing a ticket and you see that and you don't want to travel to say Anaheim's traffic court, but the one in Los Angeles then you can demand it to be so.

The same applies to out of state tickets. I would contact the court in Florida and see what they can do about you being from California.
