  1. (x + 1/2)^2

    EDIT: To factor a perfect square trinomial, find the square root of the x^2 term and the constant. The square root of the x^2 term in this one is simply x and the square root of the constant 1/4 is 1/2, so there you go. Always double check, though, by multiplying it back out to see that you get the original; remember that square roots can be both negative and positive. For example, (x - 1/2)^2 would have been for the trinomial x^2 - x + 1/4.

  2. it's:

    (x+1/2)^2

    after you do a number of these you should be able to sense the answer

  3. (x+1/2)^2

    or

    (x+1/2)(x+1/2)

  4. =( wish i could help

  5. First, you have to add 1/4 to make the expression a PST.

    x^2+x+1/4+1/4, this equals x^2+x+1/2, and then you factorize and take it to (x+1/2)(x+1/2) or (x+1/2)^2

  6. ........If the question is easy, then why are you asking this question?!

    the answer is (x+1/2)^2 by the way.
