  1. Old Time Kid is, once again, absolutely correct, and as usual, succinctly so.  Most humans, not recently or currently on antibiotics, have some 3 1/2 to 4 lbs of beneficial bacteria of some 400+ kinds/varieties in their guts.  Some of the really well-known ones are Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus reuterii, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium bifidus, B. animalis, B. breve, Bifidobacterium infantum, Bifidobacterium lactis, B. longum.  There's ten for ya, how many more do you require?

  2. Latinex

  3. I understand you. The organisms  in this product is exactly what you are looking for:  It is called Primal Defense.

It helps support the normal gastrointestinal balance of good (probiotic) and potentially harmful bacteria (anti-biotic) to help maintain a balanced, healthy internal environment.

Primal Defense includes 12 species of hardy beneficial microorganisms...click here to see the actual label,

and see what exactly they are..you need to click on it -I couldn't bring the link.  Then do a google search for a good price, they change and some places you can get it for 50-60% off.

  4. Probiotics don't replace antibiotics.... they do the exact opposite thing.

Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that live in your intestinal tract that help to keep you regular and keep things working smoothly in your intestines. Antibiotics kill any life that they can overwhelm (they aren't generally strong enough to kill a person, but they will kill all the bacteria in their body whether it's good or bad).

If I'm totally misunderstanding your question and you're wondering what Probiotic to take after taking that antibiotic, then any good probiotic product would work (even just simple Acidophilus). Good luck!
