  8. I pray to God that you're joking. That's horrid. How can you NOT notice its there for 2 days!

  9. go to the doctor right away! tss (toxic shock syndrome) is one of the most deadly diseases you can get from having a tampon in too long.

people die from it! and it might already be too late... i dont want to scare you, but its a fact.

stop reading this and go to a hospital.

  10. Very bad! Go to the ER right now.  If you look in your tampon box there is usually a paper about Toxic Shock Syndrome.  It occurs when you leave a tampon in for too long or use one when you don't need it.  I would recommend going to ER and read the paper I told you about.  Just take care of it right away so it doesn't get any worse.

  11. YES, go to the doctor. ASAP. Don't be embarrassed. You probably have "toxic shock syndrome" which is very dangerous and explained on the tampoon box.

I myself had made a similiar mistake, but was very lucky. It wasn't discolored, and I had no symptoms.

You have the symptoms, and should go see your doctor immediately.

    T*

  12. Emergency, go to your doctor. Do not wait. It could be life and death situation.

  14. Dudde call yourr doctorr. NOW>

butt it could just be since your sick all the bad fluids are coming out and with your period, its making it worse becasue of all the waste that comes out as well

  15. GET OFF THE FRIGGEN COMPUTER AND GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW. YOU COULD HAVE TTS.

  16. GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT NOW! You probably have that tss which could cause death!

  17. Call your doctor, urgent care, or go to the Emergency Room - you could have Toxic Shock Syndrome!  It results from wearing tampons too long or from wearing too strong of an absorbancy for your flow.

  18. OMG!!! CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW!! You shouldn't take a chance with something like that. Don't listen to what any one say go to a doctor so you can get a professional opinion.

  19. Well first of all, calm down. When you freak out, your body responds poorly.

Take a few hours to just sit down and think.

How long did you have the tampon in? If it was over 4 hours, call your doctor. I doubt that it is, but it could be TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome)

However, being achey is normal for some people during or after their periods.

If there was some yellow or cream to the green in the color of the tampon, it could just be discharge as well.

    Best wishes!!

  20. Don't panic, but yes, you should see a doctor and get tests now.

  21. you forgot about the tampon? was it in there for two days? either way if it comes out green, thats not good. go to your doctor asap!

  23. you should go to your doctors right now

beause you could get a lot of

    bad problems if you leave

    a tampon in too long

PLUS it coming out green isnt normal

and it could be some bad infection causing your

    upper body to hurt

  24. YES GO TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT AWAY. You probably have Toxic Shock Syndrome. It can cause death too so go to the hospital right now.

oh and next time hun, just douche when your period ends, it flushes out/gets rid of all the "next day leakage" (the residue that is still up there after your period ends). They cost $2.00 for a box of two. You can get them at CVS.

  25. Definitely call your doctor, ASAP!!!  They can figure it out before it gets worse.

  26. its probably toxic shock syndrome, which is just a bacterial infection.  Even if it's not Toxic Shock Syndrome, it is still probably just your run of the mill bacterial infection.

Call your doctor to confirm it and he will probably just give you some antibiotics.

Don't worry. These things are easily fixed.  If you're really worried, call your doctor and google Toxic shock syndrome and read up on it.  The more you know, the less horrifying it'll seem.

    No worries~

  27. this is a serious condition called "Toxic Shock Syndrome" and needs to be checked out immediately!

call your doctor as soon as possible.

  28. CALL THE DOCTOR GET OFF THE FRIEGN COMPUTER!

  29. You should call your doctor RIGHT NOW! I have never left a tampon in that long but after I had my son the nurses are suppose to check to make sure they have a full count of gauze pads and whatever else they use while I was delievering. Welll seriously 2 WEEKS LATER I had a really bad vaginal scent and thought I must have a bacterial infection or something so I waited a few more days and then like you said I too started having symptoms of a stomach pains. So I finally went to the doctor and she pulled out one of the gauze pads that they use to clean me up and she said if I had waited any longer it would have been bad!! They gave me some type of antibiotic to take that actually made me really sick but it did help and cleared everything up by the third day. So yes please atleast call your doctor and let her know what happened to see what she thinks you should do!

  30. holy c**p! go tot he doctor..

    You mos likely have TSS.

    D:

ahh. you could die from that honey!

    go go go!

  31. You could have Toxic Shock Syndrome. Call your doctor and tell him/her your symptoms.

I pulled this from the web site below:

    When to Call the Doctor

Call your doctor immediately if your child has any of the following signs and symptoms:

Signs of shock: Go to the emergency department immediately or call an ambulance if your child has cold hands and feet; a pulse that is fast and weak; confusion or other mental changes; pale, moist skin; shortness of breath; abnormally fast breathing; or a strong feeling of anxiety or fear.

Signs of TSS: Look for fever; rash (especially a rash that looks like sunburn); nausea and vomiting; watery diarrhea; confusion or other mental changes; and decreased urination. If your daughter uses tampons, ask her to tell you immediately if she notices any unusual vaginal discharge, especially if it smells strange or bad. Most of the time that will be due to other causes, but no matter the cause, it still rates evaluation.

Signs of STSS: Look for the symptoms of shock listed above, plus a fever; blotchy rash; and an area of infected skin that is red, swollen, and painful.

Once you realize that something is wrong, it's important to get medical attention right away. The sooner your child gets treatment, the quicker the recovery will be.
