In SoCal right now, it is the 20 Gallon Challenge that is our mantra as water is in short supply.  They want us to water our lawns 3 times a week, use only 20 gallons of water a day and not use significant water (i.e. laundry, dish washing, car washing) on August 29th a declared conservation day.
