this guy that i dated when i was in 5th grade for like the whole year, is a freshman this year and he's a football player

and i saw him and stuff and i cheered for him at the freshman gamei am a freshman cheerleader so i see him play and stuff

also we were in a classroom together and he wouldn't stop smiling at me...and later i was walking out of the school and he was outside and he was talking to someone and he turned and smiled at me while i was walking out.

any tips on how to get him to notice me?

like what do guys like? oh btw im realllllly shy!!!!

also do you think i can catch his eye by wearing this?

with my hair in loose curls with a headband?

that outfit wouldn't impress me at all.

Its how you represent yourself, I usually notice hair/sunglasses more than clothes. I couldn't give a c**p about the kind of jeans she wears, I never notice things like that, and im sure most guys don't.  

In all truthfulness, I dislike that outfit..

Well it seems to me like you're already catching his eye. If he's in your class talk to him before class starts. Maybe about something you did over summer or a cool movie you've seen. I'm sure he'll be glad to be talking to you. (He'll be nervous to believe it or not.)

you say that you notice that he smiles at you quite a lot, so why ever would you need something to catch his attention when he already notices you?

I disagree with skip, I like the outfit.  But it'll take more than the outfit to get a guy to notice you unless the outfit is super S****y.

Yes it is a cute outfit,and with your hair being styled the way you say,it should do the trick. Find out what kind of things he likes doing,and learn how to do some of it,then you will have something in common,guys our really simple if you can cook, sew, work on cars are play video-games our just be there cheering him on,then believe me you are getting noticed in a big way. He's just too shy to let you know,go over too him after a game,or wait for him as he is coming out of the locker-room,after a game,then ask him if he would like to go get some pizza,or see a movie with you sometimes. Girl's usually have to make the first move,when it comes to a shy guy,there to afraid too ask you out,because there afraid you will turn them down. Go get him,before someone else does.
