Please Answer I need your Help!!?

Tomorow I'm running in a big 10k run there is going to be around 10,000-15,000 runners. I was wondering if I should listen to my ipod. It really helps my run, I have a arm band for it so I know it will not fall off, but I don't know if it is dangourous or if it will slow me down. Please help.

  1. Well, if listening to your ipod helps you, then go for it.........

    I am a runner and I don't think it will slow you down, and if it does it won't be that much......

    However, if it is going to rain, or has the slightest chance of raining, DON'T run with your ipod......you know if you're in a bathtub and a radio falls in you can be electricuted? same thing happens with ipods and water/rain.....one of my friends ran with an ipod and she thought it would be oaky since she has a waterproof case, but the earphones also are part of the ipod.......and yea...she ended up in the hospital....thankfully she wasn't killed....she just couldn't run for WEEKS!!!!!!!!

    Just make sure to have fun and breathe in slowly in your nose and out your mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Make sure you drink PLENTY of water 3-5 hours before and 1-2 hours before just drink a little.....................................

    Make sure you stretch too!!!!!!!!!!!!!You don't want to pull a muscle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  2. I suggest you run with a big 11”x30” boom box on your left shoulder as this technique can really help, you will be sharing your fine tunes with your neighbors and it can even help you win the race.

  3. i dont think it will slow you down, but it may slow you down a little.  you have nothing to worry about.  remember to have fun and drink a lot of water.  if you dont drink a lot of water today and before the race, you wont be able to breath as easily, and your mouth will feel sticky.

    you may want to listen to your ipod, but you may not.  you may want to leave it behind so it doesnt get stolen or wet.  you may want to just enjoy your run and the people around you.  i dont think you should take your ipod, but thats up to you.  if you dont take your ipod, when you run, just think of lyrics to your favorite songs.  it will keep you entertained, and you will have fun.
