  1. It is the fertile discharge right before you ovulate - it looks like thick, stretchy egg whites (when raw). "CM" stands for cervical mucus...

  2. It is the same color and consistency of raw egg whites.  It is stretchy and elastic.  Not creamy or excessively watery

It means you are at the fertile time of your cycle.  The eggwhite CM is the only CM that sperm are able to freely travel through.

  3. it sounds like you have an infection.  the cervical mucus before ovulation should be CLEAR like RAW egg whites and slippery and stretchy.  Thick white discharge mey not be normal, especially if accompanied by an odor.  If its just a little with no smell, it may just be normal discharge during your cycle.  It usually gets thicker and more white before the period, but should also be a lot less.

  4. It could be a possible sign of pregnancy called, Leukorrhea. It is a medical term that denotes a thick, whitish vaginal discharge. It is a natural defense mechanism the v****a uses to maintain its chemical balance, as well as to preserve the flexibilty of the vaginal tissue. Leukorrhea may occur normally during pregnancy. This is caused by increased bloodflow to the v****a due to increased estrogen. I would wait until you miss your period ( if you haven't already) and take a HPT. If you get your period and still the discharge continues, it might be due to infection or inflammation of the v****a or cervix!  Hope this helps!
