Please Answer What Do You Of These Names?

Ok so this is mine and my brothers ! We have different moms and the same dad well du ! Our moms named us our dad was in jail when both of us were born our names are Delani Smithpeters and

Donovan Bryant we both have our moms last name me and my brother have only talked once or twice! I cant see my dads family cause I live with my aunt and mamaw and they hate my dad!

People who put down others have problems themselves secretly. You know, stuff like low self-esteem (or none at all), depression, etc. The person didn't ask to be put in that family, he was born into it.

There's nothing wrong with your names.  They're charming.  You're associating family circumstances over which you have no control, and thinking, perhaps subconsciously, you could change or escape those circumstances by changing your name. Are you thinking that if your dad had not been in jail, your name would be different? That if your name were different, you could forget that ever happened? Do you think you can't ever be close to your dad if you have your mother's last name? Will you never be close to your mother if you have your dad's last name?  Try to divorce the whole name issue from your feelings about family members. If you can do that, and you get to be 18, and you still don't like your name and can clearheadedly explain why, change it.  In the meantime, it's a name, not "who" you are.

Delani is good name, but better Delaney and Donovan is ok.

I just read why you put you were southern and proud, not for you Delani, for Another.

Another: really? do you REALLY believe that there are nothing but jailbird mothers in the south??? Are you that big of an idiot? At least in the south we know a few things that you northern a******s don't:

1)Manners (we know what they are AND we actually use them)

2)Hospitality (ya'll are just too self-absorbed to notice anything about anyone)

3)the value of a person (like I said, TOO SELF-ABSORBED)

4)Class (we have it)

I really love the name Donovan, and the nickname Donnie is awesome. I hate the spelling of Delani but I like Delaney.

Delani is one of my absolute favorite names! Donovan is a really good name too, it's on my list of names that I like.
