I'm trying to figure out if my last period was actually implantation bleeding. I had taken a pregnancy test 3 days before and it was negative. I started bleeding 3 days after i took the test. Was it a period or not? That was on Feb 6. I'm now 26 weeks pregnant and my due date is Nov.21. Is it possible I was pregnant when I took the test? Or did I get pregnant later on??

  1. was it lighter than a normal period?  Did it occur when you were due for your period?  it's possible that it was implantation bleeding, even the best home tests can't pick up the hormone until around 3-4 weeks after conception.  Keep in mind that the doctor tags on an additional 2 weeks (or so) prior to conception for your pregnancy calendar.

The only way you'll really know is if the baby measures big on the ultra sound or is born a couple of weeks 'early' in a normal pregancy.

but at this point it really doesn't matter.

    Congrats!

  2. If you have had your scan and your dates are approx, count back 40 weeks from you due date - you concieved on week 2, you arent actually pregnant for the first 2 weeks, Feb 6 would be about right I think!

    Hope that helps

  3. you hormone level start rising two weeks after conception. If you have an implantation bleed it usually happens around 10 days after conception

  4. i doubt you are pregnant wait a few weeks then take another test to be sure

  5. i dont think you were prego then but i could be wrong just count the date of last period add ten days and subtract 3 months and then you will know :D

  6. No I would say it was more like the end of Feb that you became pregnant.  This all does depend on how many days are in your cycle.  But I would say the end of February was more likely so I would say you had your period in Feb and then became pregnant.

There is websites you can check conception dates on as long as you know your EDD and things like that.
