k so i have to pick my classes wednesday i'm in 11th grade and i'm homeschooled and i have to pick 4 electives. The thing is i want to pick classes (electives) that are gonna be useful in any career that i choose for in my future.

for example if i want to become a teacher i'd pick tutoring as an elective! but i'm not sure what career i want!! :( i'm in between becoming a Teacher or Psychiatrist

i live in the USA originaly from Brazil and my problem is that if i ever go back to Brazil (which my dad is always planing on doing) the salary won't be much compared to what they pay teachers and psychiatrists here in the U.S my dad is constantly planing on going back to our country and if i choose to study Teaching here in the usa its not that bad compared to what they get paid in Brazil so my question is what should i do??? what are some good electives which will be usefull for any career that i pick for my future? i know that computer skills is on of them any other advise???

  1. go for law or medicine. these are the highest pais professions in both USA ans Brazil

  2. Here are two ideas for you -

Speech communication - important to be able to speak, present well and "think on your feet" no matter what career you choose.

Personal Finance - important to be able to manage your money regardless of career choice.

  3. Business skills is a good one. Also, if you're between teaching and psychiatry, why not study child psychology since it kind of falls in the middle and will help you with either career you choose. Child development is another. You might also consider studying something new that you've never considered before but that looks interesting as well. It might open a door to a new career path you never considered but would like even more than teaching or psychiatry. Good luck
