  1. This one got the best reviews.

    Hanatei

    101 Bowie St

    San Antonio, TX 78205-3901

    Phone: (210) 554-6180

    In Short

Set in the Marriott Rivercenter's second floor atrium, the cafe is intimate, but modern. The maki, sushi and sashimi served here by swift, efficient hands are delicately prepared and noticeably fresh. The array of colorful dishes focuses on seafood and vegetables. Anago (sea eel) and sake (salmon) sushi are well-proportioned and precise. Dinosaur maki, a combination of fresh fish served raw with fried soft shell crab, and green tea ice cream are also recommended.

  2. I personally like Samuri Sushi on Babcock. I hear good things about Godai on West Ave. I've been to Koi Kawa and wasn't repulsed, sorry can't say the same about Zushi Sushi !!!!

  3. Goro sushi is good, and it also has a Happy Hour, which means there are some half-price rolls...super way to see if  you like that place.   They have a lot of 'Fusion' rolls...fusing the spiciness of Mexican with the sushiness of sushi, lol...

There is also Tongs Thai, from the name you will gather it's a Thai restaurant, but there is a sushi bar there as well.  Chef Ariel makes a KICK BUTT spicy tuna roll, among some other good creations.  They aren't cheap, but not the most expensive either.

Good luck, from a fellow Los Angelan who misses her LA sushi like no one can imagine!!
