****Please HELP Im running out of time!!!=(?

Question

Okay well i found a baby pigeon and i have been caring for it and feeding it very well for the past three weeks. he was healthy when i found him.

But now he has a purplish redish bump slowly growing on the right side of his face below his eye near his nostrils I dont know what it is or what to do i love him but im really worried for his sake what the h**l is it and what should I do!!

Hurry cause im afraid im running out of time!

i saved a baby pigeon around 3 weeks ago, and it died, they tend to remain in shock (the one i saved had cuts on it, maybe from another animal)

so take it to the vet and see as it has survived in your care for quite a while.

try to contact the alaska bird rescue and see if they know of anyone in town that raises pigeons because i found a baby pigeon and no one would treat it  they were just going to destroy it because wild pigeons carry a number of diseases (like 13) they told me. this wasn't up here it was in the lower 48 while I was on vacation, so i just had to leave the poor guy. you could call the avian vets and see if they will see the bird and not put it down, but i would be careful. go to petfinder.com and go to shelter search and find Alaska bird rescue and it list a contact # . maybe they can point you in the right direction
