My computer is a Insprion Dell B130 laptop. It runs on Microsoft Office XP. I tried to download a file from limewire but it was corrupt So I got rid of limewire. ALL of it. But now it won't run right. It is slow and there are spyware programs poppinh up. I deleted this also and did system restore and it still does not work right! It said it found a PUP so I tried to get rid of it. How do I get my computer back to normal? Last time I used system restore it worked fine, I picked a date from several months ago but this time it will only let me pick today and even several hoursago it wasn't working right...please help!!!!.

  1. When you delete files from limewire they don't go into the recycle bin they don't delete really from your computer that's why i use ares instead of limewire it wreck my last computer so never again.and limewire has more corrupt files then ares.Still have ares now and it's great.

  2. srry i dont know wut to do for you

    :[

    wish i could help

but anyway thats probly why i havnt seen you on Y!A lol

  3. I hope that you have antivirus software. Do a scan. IF not go to google and type in "zone alarm", download the free antivirus program and do a scan. Other useful programs to google are "spybot search and destroy" and "adaware". Download all, update, and run scans and you should be back to normal (hopefully)

  4. try a system restore. go to

    start>programs> accessories> system tools>system restore.

find a date that is before the time u downloaded the virus. and then start living like nothing ever happened.

  5. use mbam or maleware bytes its sure to clear all ur maleware corrupt files and viruses and the best thing is its free unleess u want the full version which does schedualed checks on ur cpu u really dont need to pa for it
