I have the Olympus Stylus 790 SW digital camera. Its waterproof. So i bought it. Ive had it for a while now and decided to go into a pool to take a picture underwater with the camera.I put it on scene and the waterproof scene. I take a picture and its working good. But afterwards its not turning on and theres water in the screen. i tried drying the battery but stil not working! ive tried everything! PLESE HELP ME! what do i do in order for it to work? And it was the correct depth it could go under. It went under 5 feet water and its allowed to go under 12 feet!

i have the same camera and it funally took one month and a half until it finally turned on again. i think is just a matter of time before the water starts drying up.

It should work really good it can normally last for about 5 months or two you may need some new batteries OK and if it doesn't work check an professional it should help

Honestly I'd say it's a warrenty matter. If it said to be waterproff to 10 or 12 feet and it leeks at 5 ft. You should get it exchanged.

Save the pics from the memory card with a card reader.

I think it will dry very slowly as it is generally water proof but possibly has small leak somewhere so the water got pressed into it and now has to come out the same way.

I suggest to return it and have it exchanged (if warrenty has not expired).
