  1. I would recommend first volunteering/working at a stable.  Then move on to leasing a horse -- that way you can show your parents that you really are responsible enough to have your own horse, without the initial investment of a purchase price.

  2. Yes, work at a local stable first, before you dive right into buying a horse.

As for breed, I would suggest a Quarter - Horse, they are calm and gentle, and usually very affectionate

  3. before you get a horse, try volunteering a a local stable.  learn everything you can and show your parents that you are responsible enough to own your own.  If you are old enough to get a part time job, save as much money as you can, that way you can show them that you are willing to help pay for it or to buy all your own supplies

    Good luck

  4. You are not at all ready to own a horse or pony. Learn all you can after school and at weekends at a local riding school, learn how to ride. Once you can show your parents that you can cope, maybe - only maybe, they will help you buy one. They will have to have a lot of money for livery/insurance/farrier/feed/vet/tack/r... and blankets/grooming kit and also your riding gear. I believe that you can study on a GCSE course for all you need to know. Then again, all horses are different.
