Is there any way i can play dvds without having to use the homebrew SD card thing. Please help me !

  1. Nope its not made to play DVDs it cant read them without the SD card.

    Get a dvd player man there pretty cheap now... like the same as that card.


  2. Sorry. The only way to play DVDs on a Nintendo Wii is by modifying it. The Wii has a "Wii Optical Drive" that reads Wii Optical Discs. Be aware, if you modify your Wii and put in a DVD drive, it will only play games backed up on DVDs. Plus, many people reported that modifying their Wii bricked them. I recommend just getting a DVD player if you want to play DVDs.

  3. No. The Wii will only play Gamecube and Wii games. It will not play CDs or DVDs.
