Please Help! Ancestry Account? Info?

Question

Searching for someone that may be willing to do a kind and meaningful thing? Can some please provide me with my Fathers, Grandparents information including place of birth. Fathers name is Jose Guajardo Rodriguez Date of birth is 4/29/41 Texas. My father

passed away on 2/10/05 location Phoenix AZ. This all of the information I have. I appreciate any and all help thank you for your time! Social Security Number I do not have.

I didn't find a match in the SS Index but one of these Texas births might be your dad and therefore you can see his parents.

One is the 27th instead of the 29th and one is 1942 instead of 1941

You can request a copy of his death certificate by mail from the State of Arizona and don't have to send a copy of you birth certificate to do it. I do it all the time. Simply write the following:

Dear Sirs, I would like a copy of the death certificate for my father, Jose Guajardo Rodriguez, who died in Maricopa County on February 10, 2005. This is for genealogy purposes.

I don't have an active account now but, if no one helps you out, try sending off for their social security registration information (cost about 20 odd dollars per request). You can look their SS #'s by searching the index I've provided a link for. Providing birth or death dates and locations should narrow the list down enough to figure which listings are them. The SS registration cards will provide birth dates/ location, location where applied for card and their parents names. Good luck.

There is no Jose Rodriguez b. 4/29/41 listed in the Texas birth index on Ancestry.

For that matter, there is not a Jose Rodriguez who d. 2/10/05 on the Social Security death index. I'm sorry that Ancestry can't be more help.

I think your best bet is to order the death certificate from Arizona. It should have his accurate birthdate and his parents names. If possible, his obituary might be helpful as well - the public library or a volunteer at RAOGK.org or the Rootsweb message boards might be able to make a copy for you. It would list any living relatives that you could find and talk to.

That's the closest I could find with the dates you mentioned, but --if it IS the right one--it shows your grandparents' names.  =)
