I did all my research and found out everything i needed. I put my 2 mini rex, 5 months and 2 years old, in together last night and they seemed to like each other.

The male kept humping her face though, is that bad? He finally figured out what he needed to do, "Go to the Back End".

Today i went out there and they all seemed fine but i know this sounds WEIRD but she already feels kinda plump, is it her babies growing ALREADY or just her chubby belly?

Also i picked her up and she had a pinky/peachy color goo under her tail, kind of by her "private parts" is that bad?

Please answer all my questions if you can..Thanks!

  1. hello there

i think you've done it correctly.but separate them now.or you might find unexpected results.

the peachy color might be the s***n.but it must be white.not peach or pink.

she must not look plump by now.the reproduction process just started.her body should still be forming the babies.maybe she's just too obese right now.this is not good.an obese pregnant doe might have complications in breeding.

have a nice day!prepare for the babies!  Ã¢Â˜Â¼

  2. im going to put this on my watchlist

  3. probably rite now u cant feel the babies its to early nd nd the goo is just that he humped her already or she is ready to be humped just letting u know that her body is ready or its that time for her

  4. have you read http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/r... ?

Right now, as you read this, healthy rabbits are being killed at animal shelters simply because there are more wonderful rabbits than there are rabbit-people.

What can we do to stop the killing? Adopt from a shelter.

Do not allow your rabbit to have even one litter. Even if you find good homes for those babies, those are good homes that the shelter rabbits won't get. And what if each of those babies is allowed to have one litter? Will you take responsibility for each of them finding a good home? I can guarantee that within one or two generations a rabbit from that "just one litter" will end up dead at a shelter.

Talk to others about this problem. Many people are unaware of how many rabbits are being surrendered and euthanized at shelters-and compared to the ones who are dumped in fields, those at shelters are the lucky ones. Lucky to have a lethal overdose of sodium pentothal injected by a caring person!

What have we come to when that's the best we can offer these guys? To purchase from a breeder or pet store is to write a death warrant for a shelter rabbit. When you adopt from a shelter, you are saving TWO rabbits - the one you adopt, and the one who can come in and fill his spot.

    It's as simple as that.
