  1. There are thousands of chemical reactions in the farming industry, but the most important one by far is photosynthesis.

        6 CO2(g) + 12 H2O(l) + chlorophyll in the presence of sunlight----> C6H12O6 + 6 O2 + 6 H2O

        carbon dioxide + water + light energy → glucose + oxygen + water

    Without this chemical reaction there would be no farming or even life. Photosynthesis converts sunlight to energy used to grow plants. Plants serve as the source of energy to all animal life. It converts CO2 to O2 in the process.

  2. Chemical reactions play many roles in the agricultural industry.  Everything from balancing the pH of soils to determining what nutrients to add and the quantities of each.  Along with pestisides and herbicides to reduces the changes of adverse reactions.

  3. obviously some farmers use herbicides like round up, and some use pestisides.when farmers use to many chemicles they use lime to help make the ph closer to seven. farmers sometimes use a either manure from their livestock or they purchase fertalizer that has water added to it to dilute it. of course, if you go on google or yahoo you can find more answers for chemical reactions in the farmeing industry.

  4. The reactions are that of photosynthesis and respiration, all by the wonders of sun energy and materials provided by the land and air and rains. Nothing else happens without the "Light reactions" and "Dark reactions". When you get in college you will be required to memorize these, might as well start now.
