Please Help!! How Do I Say No?

I am part of this acting group at school called Destination Imagination and I am part of 2 groups. One is my actual group and the other one I am a guest on. I don't really want to be on the one that I am a guest on because I am not liking it. I only was there for one day and really didn't help them (You cant let anyone to put in Ideas except your team) so I want to quit. But how do I tell my mom that I want to quit the team I am on as a guest?

Is your mom forcing you to be on that second team? Just tell her that you weren't comfortable with the team dynamics and you would prefer to stick with the initial team where you have more of a say and can develop your leadership skills more, etc. Be honest and give her your true reasons!
