  1. Most of the above answers are cool...i woudl endorse the recipie without the pre made curry paste or curry powder...make your own...may take a lil practice but once you perfect it...endless joy awaits you.


  2. Are you looking for Indian curry, Thailand curry or Japanese curry?  They have different taste.

    I only can tell you how to cook Japanese curry.

    1. Go to wal-mart, search international aisle, find a curry.  It is solid block.

    2. buy potatoes, carrots, onions, and chicken.

    3. Follow the instruction on the box of curry.

    4just cook it first and add water and boil 15 minutes or so. and add the curry block and stir and wait.

    Then you can taste very nice delicious chicken curry!!

  3. Boneless skinless chicken breast

    Make a chicken gravy using a roux and chicken broth

    Chopped onion, bell pepper and celery

    Add curry powder to taste to the gravy

    When it comes to a boil add the pounded chicken breast

    Let simmer

    Boiled rice and/or white rice with wild rice

    Serve with green peas

    Add along side some cut up fresh fruit such as banana, mango, pineapple

    On top add toasted coconut and ground peanuts

  4. Fast, Easy & Tasty CHICKEN CURRY:  this is very simple & delicious

    Ingredients:

    1 lb chicken pieces, boneless/skinless

    1 large onion, diced

    2 cloves of garlic, finely minced

    1 inch piece of ginger, peeled & finely minced

    1 can of tomato puree (if you use crushed tomatoes, puree them)

    1 tsp ground cumin

    1 tsp turmeric

    1 tsp ground coriander

    1 tsp garam masala

    1/2 red chili powder (to taste)

    salt to taste

    juice of 1 lemon

    oil (veg or canola)

    water as needed (or chicken stock)

    freshly chopped cilantro leaves for garnish

    METHOD:

    In a large deep skillet on medium high heat, add 2 tbsp of oil and saute the onion until slightly browned. Add the ginger & garlic, stir fry for 1-2 minutes and add the spices. Stir fry & let the spices cook out for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. Add the chicken pieces and mix to coat well. Once the chicken has turned opaque, add the tomatoes and a little water to cover.

    Reduce the heat, cover & let simmer 10-12 minutes. The chicken should be fully cooked but tender & juicy. Add lemon juice, adjust the seasonings, garnish & serve.

  5. get the curry put a pot of oil on th stove then put vegetables in the oil and then add the curry powder then add the chicken and let it cook for a while , then add thyme . then let it cook more, then thats it . ( use the boneless chicken b*****s if you want it to cook much faster) approximate cooking time 45 minutes depends on how much ur cooking

    ( you have to season the chicken with black pepper, onions, sweet pepper, and jerk seasoning before u put it in  the pot .

  6. Chicken Coconut Curry

    Serves 6

    After stirring in coconut milk, do not let the sauce boil or milk will separate.

    1 lb. small red potatoes, halved or quartered

    Coarse salt

    1½ lbs. boneless, skinless chicken b*****s, sliced crosswise into ¾” strips

    1 Tbsp. curry powder

    3 tsp. veg. oil

    6 garlic cloves, minced

    ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes

    ¾ cup canned coconut milk

    1 Tbsp. tomato paste

    1 cup frozen peas, thawed

    ¼ cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped

    In a medium saucepan, cover potatoes w/ slated water by 1”.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until fork-tender, 10-12 minutes.  Drain.

    Meanwhile, in a bowl, toss chicken w/ curry powder and 1 tsp. salt.  In a large, nonstick skillet, heat 1 tsp. oil over med-high heat; cook cook half the chicken, turning often, until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.  Transfer to a plate, repeat with other half of chicken.

    Reduce heat to med-low.  Cooke garlic and pepper flakes in remaining 1 tsp. oil, about 1 min.  In small bowl, whisk together coconut milk, tomato paste, and ¼ cup water.  Pour into pan, add peas, and stir until liquid just begins to simmer.

    Return chicken to pan along with cooked potatoes; toss until warmed through and coated with sauce, 1-2 minutes  Serve topped with peanuts.

    I package of Chicken thighs

    1/2 chopped onion

    3 granny smith apples - chopped

    2 cans cream of mushroom soup

    1 pint Whipping cream

    1/2 bar butter

    3 Tbs Curry powder

    Paprika

    Preheat oven to 350

    Heat your butter in a pan.  Saute onions until translucent. Add chopped green apples and cook until soft. Add the soups, whipping cream, and curry powder until heated through. You can add more curry powder if you want.

    Place thighs in a baking dish. Salt, Pepper, and paprika them on both sides. Pour sauce over chicken and bake for an hour and a half until cooked through.

    Serve over steamed rice and salad.

  9. go in to a supermarket.. u get chicken fillets in a bag, get a jar of curry sauce (you can get the curry sauce with all the other stuff in it to like potatoes and all) and a bag of rice if u want it to be even simiplier get the mirowave rice..

    steam the chicken 4 20mins and wen cooked cut up into strips..

    heat up the sauce in a pan and put the chicken into it and then do ur rice..

    i do it like dis all the time and me and my boyfriend loves it..
