Please Help Me Calculate the Two Week Wait?

I have just had an ovulation induction cycle. Does my two week wait start when I take the HCG trigger, after s*x at 24hrs later or after s*x at 36hrs later? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was in the same position this month.  After the HCG I was told to test 18 days after. Although I had IUI.  I was told 18 days but I've seen many articles over the internet which state that 14-16 days should be enough.  The HCG from the injection should be cleared out by this stage so shouldn't influence the HPT and produce false negatives.

Not positive- but I do believe that it would start on the day of the trigger shot.

After the trigger shot you will ovulate within 12 to 36 hours later.  So you actually have a 14 to 16 day wait.  So you would count 14 15 or 16 days after the trigger.  I hope this helps!  Good Luck!
