Please Help Me and My Hermit Crab!!!

Question

OK, so I have a hermit crab and he pinched me so I dropped him on my tile floor!!! Now he has a cracked shell and his arm thingie next to his pincher is like torn a little!!! Can he live in a cracked shell because I have another shell for him! But I don't want to take him to the vet but what should I do to help him?!?

You need to have several different shells in his cage anyways

They change shells as they grow

So yeah, maybe give him the new shell

But you may want to take him to the vet if he is injured

put another shell in his cage. The arm thingie will be okay. Dont worry. They are tough.

hes probally not seriosly heart but u should offer the shell to it u never know he might change but it is best to call for pro help dis dosent mean rush him to the vet if he seems fine i wouldnt worry to muchc all local small pet stores near ur house if any there the best big pet stores like petco never know what the h**l there saying

well if you think about it in the wild when there shell cracks they get a new one and if he doesn't move shells don't worry hes smart enough to no what to do with him self

his leg may fall off but don't worry it will grow back i wouldnt take him to the vet as long as hes still moving even if hes not moving alot he may just want to chill and let it heal up  so i would leave him alone this has happened to me before and you may not want to hold him on your palm any more after you let him chill for about a week you may want to pick him up by the back of his shell  and set him on the ground and let him crawl around but watch him closley
