Does this surround sound system require a DVD player to work??? or can i hook it up to my TV? or can i buy some sort of wire to make it plug in to a headphone jack if so what would that be called???

    -- It appears to include a DVD player built-in, so, no!

    -- Sure, to watch a DVD.

    -- You wouldn't need to do this, from what I can see.
