I am a goiong to be on my division 3 college cross country team this fall as a freshman and have been training all summer. I have been doing all distance and strength training but now I am losing the will to run but truthfully I really loving running. I don't know why this is happening. I want to be good and be in shape when I arrive to the first practice, but everyday it just gets harder to get out of bed in the morning and run. Even if I try sleeping in and running later it seems like the problem is worse. I don't know what to do for the mental funk I am in. I do run by myself because I don't know anybody else who is at my level of fitness right now. I am doing about 40 - 50 miles per week. If anyone else has had this problem I would appreciate it if you could let me know how you deal with it. Thanks for all the help.
