  1. Hey I have same problem here. acne plus dinner in 2 weeks. i suggest using cetaphil facial wash for oily skin and neutrogena oil-free cos that's what my dermatologist told me to do. It takes a while to clear though. not an one off thing but doesn't hurt to try. if desperate on the day maybe use make up to cover up.

  2. Here are a few things that I know:

If you are a teen, don't stress it usually passes, but make sure that you wash your face at least twice a day, and use an oil free moisterizer to protect agianst oil rebound.... sometimes when you use too many harsh drying agents on your skin you produce extra oil (sebum) and it actually clogs your pores more.

eat right ..that means lots of fresh or frozen(not canned veggies and fruits...try to keep it organic (no pestisides, or preservitives). No oranges, a very low carb diet, good carbs include barley, non-instant oatmeal, winter squash. No alcohol, no sugar, no refined flour products. Use cinnamon, drink green tea, lots of water, no soda or fruit juice, unless you use a juicer. Cook with and eat only olive oil. try not to overcook your veggies, the less the better.

Get enough fresh air and exercise....always wash face after you sweat.

Stay stress free, meditate for at least 20 minutes a day, and a little prayer cannot hurt.

Good products: MD Skincare buy the cleanser, hydra pure mist, and two step exfoliating system, as well as the oil free moisturuzer. If you buy it at www.skin-one.com you will get a 14 day trial of the 2 step exfoliating system, so you can try it out before you buy.

A great divice is the zeno- you can buy it at blissworld.com, sephora.com or myzeno.com...but bliss and sephora give you samples.I hope I have helped....Oh yeah try a facial, the phyto-organic facial at red door spas (nationwide chain) is great. Also a sulfer mask will help, even for on the spot treatments..Proactive, Murad, sells them....However I don't know if you should use sulfer if you are going to be using the MD skincare 2 in one peel. You can call them up and ask questions, you get to talk to a facialist the telephone number is on the web page (www.skin-one.com). they carry a lot of different products ....so see if MD Skincare is right for you, they may have another suggestion. I really hope your dilema goes away : ) I've been there... trust me. If you want to exchange skin info add me to your contact list:) Good luck, stay calm, it will go away.

  3. Proactiv :)

do you have a local mall?

they now sell proactiv at the mall!

    you can go there

  4. ok..DONT try the toothepaste cuz i did and it just make spots go weird lol.

steam your face twice a day over hot water for a while, then splash your face with cold water to close the pores again.

Contrary to popular belief acne is not caused by:

    eating fatty food or chocolate

dirt so washing more does not help

Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning

Grind orange peel with some water to a paste and apply on affected parts. One of the best acne home remedies.

Blend cucumber and make a paste. Apply this as a mask on your face and leave it for 1/2 hour and then rinse. This refreshes your skin and prevents acne.

Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be included in your diet. All acne home remedies should include a healthy diet.

some of these helped me..hope they help u to =]

    xx

  5. What you need:

1- BETADINE (make sure to tell the pharmacist its the one for acne)

-it's the strongest medicine ever for acne, a doctor prescribed it to me and within TWO weeks, after having a huge acne prob, i had no acne, honest.

    - how to use it: wash your face with it once every day or so..

    2- FUCIDIN

    - once i purchased this cream, i swear that it has become my best friend.

    - how to use it: just dab a bit of it on each pimple before you sleep at night, and by the next morning, some of them will begin to fade away

-alternative: neutrogena on the spot cream

    3- Sensiquin cream

    - it's used for freckles, age spots, and dark skin pigmentation and it also helps moisturize your skin after using the strong betadine wash which could dry your skin if you don't use any moisurizers

-how to use it: put some of the cream on cotton and rub it all over your face

-alternative: any other good moisturizer the pharmasict can reccomend to you

    Advice:

    - try to not touch your face a lot

    - drink LOTS of water.. well 8-9 cups a day should do it.. just keep a bottle becide you at all times

    - whenever you come back from outside you HAVE TO wash your face.. not neccesarily with the betadine (you should only use it ONCE a day, once you wake up preferably), but with normal soap and water to kill all the bacteria from outside

  6. Put some toothpaste on it and like stay for 15 minutes.

  7. Accutane is the most proven drug when dealing with 'horrible' acne. Do not bother with toothpaste etc. Go to a doctor and seek their advice/a prescription for accutane before you get anymore scars. It will not work in two weeks, about 8 months, but most to not need a second course. For a more short term treatment ask for a product containing 10% benzoyl peroxide or a product containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl peroxide. do not bother with clearasil etc.

  8. drink a lot of water.

im talking like 5 bottles a day.

thats what ive been doing for the past 2 weeks and my skin has cleared up a lot. it helps with oilyness and dryness too. other then drinking water, i can only recommend to stick to a washing rountine. try just a basic cleanser, and then i use clearsil every-day cleaning pads or whatever with salycilic acid. and i also use the clearisil vanishing acne spot treatment with benzoyl perozide. but only put it on certain spots, not on your whole face.

    good luck!

  9. A range of skincare lotions called Amie was just released in January, it is all naturual and is available in superdrug. I have been using it and i have really noticed a difference in my skin, (but make sure you use it regularly.)

    Check out the website:

    Hope i helped

    Olivia

  10. Do not put tooth paste on your face!!! First you have to wash your face with clean and clear oil-free daily pore cleanser (twice a day) ,and after washing, dab wet face with towel. Next, apply clinique clarifying lotion (this is alcohol that deflakes the skin's surface, and optimizes cell turnover. After applying this with a cotton ball on your face and throat, apply on-the-spot acne treatment by Neutrogena directly on the acne or breakouts. This is my daily routine and it works!

  11. i would recommend benzoly peroxide it will work in an interval of 3weeks but you should start with a lower concentration of 2.5%

  12. for me eating chocolate or even sweets will give me spots. so maybe u need to avoid them? also, if i dont get enough sleep i will wake up with a few spots. so make sure ur getting enough sleep!!!

    hope this helps:)
