Please Help! My game for my Gamecube will not work....?

I have the game Zelda-Windmakers and I was playing it one day. I turned it off for a little while and when I turned it back on it said "The Game Disc could not be read. Pleas refer ot your Nintendo Gamecube instruction booklet for details"

I don't have my booklet anymore. Can anyone help me please? The game cost $50 and I don't want to by another one. Why is it doing this and is there anything I can do it fix it. All the other games I play work, just not this one. It was working great before I turned it off and now nothing.

Is it scratched anywhere, if it is, try taking it somewhere like Replay Games. They will fix it for about $2.

Well it probably has a scratch on it.

Take the game, spit on it just a little and wipe it with your shirt.

Works for me!
