Please Help... Quick!!! (semi ergent)?

Question

tomorrow I am leaving my vacation from the islands...

the thing is I have A LOT of clothes and souvenirs. I have

two suitcases full of things and still need tons of more space!!!

You can only have two suit cases/bags unless you check them in baggage. but since i am flying stand-by my bags are low priority.

(I have lost my luggage... no exaggeration... 4 times being on stand-by)

I also can not ship it(since it is a foreign island... VERY expensive... i have already checked)

Help would be immensely appreciated!!!

You may have to go out and buy bigger bags there.  Roll all of your clothes very tightly and pack very snugly.  I like the idea of the vacuum sealing.  Make sure that you carry as much as your are allowed as carry on.  Are you traveling with other people?  Maybe others have a little room that they could share with you - every little bit of space will help.  That's about all you can do.

Hello!

You can purchase space saver bags at department stores or luggage stores.  They are similar to the bags you see on TV where you vacuum all the air out to save space in your closets.  These however you roll the air out to create the same effect.(obviously since you wont have a vacuum on vacation).

Also, don't forget overlooked areas you can stuff things like inside your shoes or leftover space in a toiletry/make up bag.

Maybe get bigger suitcases or re-arrange the things in your suitcases to make everything fit. Or space bags; I guess.?

Find a place to buy "space bags"...those bags you fill, seal, then suck the air out with a vacum. ..and ask the hotel maid to help you with the vacum cleaner. They save lots of room...tho they will be very heavy.  Get very creative...roll up socks and stuff in shoes.  Roll items that you don't put in the space bags...they take less room than when folded.  If you have gifts or souvenirs that are in boxes...throw away the boxes.  Good luck!
