Please Help With this ?

Ok, my computer say to turn on my automatic updates but when I try to do it by going to Run to start it doesnt show the option to start the updates. My brother Told me to just reinstall XP but I'm too lazy. Can I fix my computer without reinstalling windows XP?

if all you want to do its turn on automatic updates here is what you do Press the windows key and the pause break keys at the same time and which will open up system properties click on the automatic updates tab and click automatic and then the apply button and your automatic updates will be turned on if you cant find the windows and pause break keys just right click my computer and go to properties and it will take you there. if you want to go do updates go to start then all programs and it should be up at the top and that will take you to windows update page

My computer > Control panel > WIndow Updates > check Enable auto updates.
