I need to get home from destination A to destination B (am a citizen of destination B). But currently, my passport is in the embassy of destination C, where i am going right after i get the visa. Now, i need to get home, to B, immediately... What can i do? The embassy of destination C does not want to help me and fasten the process.

  1. you need your passport in any case. If you're in a foreign land, how did you get there by the way? well where you are today go to your embassy and sak for a traveller's permit valid within weeks to 3months. they also could issue you a one way permit back home.

  2. If it's the death of a family member, ring your home countries embassy in your current location and your home location - they'll make it happen quick!  If it's a neighbours wedding .... you're out of luck.  But have to ask, why is your passport in a country other than where you are?  If it's a real emergency, destination C can't withhold your passport if you're no longer going there.  And embassies are usually pretty helpful in emergency situations.  Ring you home country embassy, explain the situation and they should be helpful.

  3. Why don't you go to your embassy, in the country your currently in, and ask for advice and help.
