Please Help me because i'm worried?

Question

yesterday I was at macys and I was trying my clothes in the fitting room and when I got out of macys there was a guy and he took me in his office because I accidently forgot to take out their merchandise and they asked me for my id,name,birthday,school, social security,and they took a picture of me.

will that effect my record and stuff because they asked for it?

I am so worried about this

You can sue them. Don't ever give your SS# to anyone..You don't have to give any information to a store lackey.

I don't understand what you mean by you "forgot to take out their merchandise".  Did you not take it out of the dressing room? Or, did you forget and take it out of the store?

it's called shoplifting, you should be very concerned.

it wont efect your record unless they press charges. they probably keeping your name on file in the store. be extra careful when shopping there in the future, they r watching you!!
