Please Help!!! my cat got my leopard gecko!!!?

Question

What do I do?!?! It's too late to go to the VET. Should I cleanse the wound with water or something else??? He's got a puncture right under one of his legs. And a tiny one ontop of him close to his head.

He pooped himself but I put him back into his cage and he walked right into one of his hides. I will take him to the vet in the morning, but hopefully he doesn't die before then.

id put flour on it, it stops bleeding.

See if he can save you a bundle on your car insurance.

i think you should just hope for the best cats kill small animals like yours al most instantly , their saliva kills them when it's entered into the       stream , or maby thats birds... i don't remeber, just hope for the best...

Don't wait for your vet to open, find an emergency vet hospital.  That would be best for the gecko.

I highly recomend that you not take any actual tips from this Q&A - earlier, my turtles were ill, and I was told various things, including that they had a chronic illness and they were going to die.  They ended up just having this plant stuff growing on them that could be treated with daily salt baths.

A live vet is your best bet with an injured animal, not suggestions from an online free-for-all.

Just try to keep him alive let him be but keep an eye on him throught the night.

ok even if your Emergency vet doesn`t have experience in reptiles they can still help. This is the kind of stuff that makes me sick because it can be avoided. It is almost common sense that if you own a cat that you would clamp an animal cage shut.
