Hey

How / why does this work/happen???

An object that weights 15kg is traveling approxametly 20km. It get launched into the air by a 40 degree ramp that is 50cm high and travels 330cm with a maximum height of 80cm

  2. Gravity.

  3. The arc that it travels will be determined by the forces acting on it.  Gravity pulls it down, its velocity and initial angle (from the ramp) will work against that.  All those factors (and friction and lift) will affect the final distance, maximum height, and force of impact (though that doesn't seem to be of interest here).

  4. The mass (weight) doesn't matter (ideally), the speed and angle at launch determine the 'hang time' and distance covered.

  5. It can be momentum because

    momentum=mass*velocity
