  1. The egg came first.  All modern birds are descended from dinosaurs who laid eggs.  Over millions of years, each creature that emerged from an egg became more and more birdlike.  Contrary to popular belief, not all dinosaurs became extinct, they evolved into birds.

  2. There is no "real" answer. But the way I explain it is. I believe that the chicken came firt because god put 1 man and 1 woman on this earth as full grown adults. And ten they had their children. SO that leads me to believe that god must have put 1 male rooster and 1 female chicken on the earth befor they laid the egg. SO the Chicken came first

  3. the chicken!

    omg this is so simple

if god created all creatures, then obviously he creates the chicken...then the chickedn layed the egg.

  4. no one will ever know the answer to that question.

  5. the chicken came first.  it had to cross the road to lay the egg.

  6. The egg. The chicken wasn't the first egg-laying creature to exist.

  7. the dumb blond...

  8. Well if we take it that chickens, like everything else, evolved from single-celled organisms, then the chicken didn't suddenly "appear", it evolved slowly over time. Neither did the egg - there wasn't an egg that convieniently appeared as time began.

In actuality, in my opinion, neither came 1st. Both came into existence slowly, and at the same rate.

Although, if the theory that birds (eg; chickens) evolved from dinosaurs is true, and dinosaurs laid eggs, it could be said that eggs technically existed before chickens did.

Tell your teacher THAT. I'd love to see her face. Bwahaha.

  9. your teacher is insane...... the chicken

  10. the chicken cause what would keep the egg warm

  11. The egg, dinosaurs laid them way before there were chickens.

  12. I think that chicken had to come first, so that it could lay the egg.

  13. egg or try google ps are you a blond?

  14. the egg... i think...

  15. Really? For homework?

Anyways. There is not definate answer to this question. Its very much of a personal thing.

Just say what you think and then argue, argue well. Supported with scientific reasons.

  16. Actually it's a win-win situation. The chicken needs the egg to become a chicken. The egg needs the chicken to lay them out.

  17. A circle has no beginning.

  18. Probably the chicken as according to the bible eve came first to birth their kids so I guess the chicken came first to plop down the egg....????

  19. This is to make you think. There is no real answer to this question, as no-one knows. The best answer i can come up with is that due to evolution the Egg came first. As two chicken like animals would have had intercourse to produce an egg. There was a mutation of the egg which then caused a chicken to hatch. Very similar to the mother and father, but not identical making a new animal, The chicken!

  20. neither... because a chicken would have had to lay an egg but also the chicken must have come from an egg =]

    its c**p basically lol x

  21. The Egg. How do u not know that its easy Contact me!For more ?s

  22. The egg..

    no wait...the chicken....no

    The egg?...no...probably the chicken...

It's pretty much an impossible questiong to answer :)

  23. It's impossible to know, lol

But god created animals first, right?

So in my opinion it's the egg

  24. i would say the egg because birds evolved from reptiles and reptiles lay eggs  so eggs came first

  25. the chicken with a fertised egg in its stomach so more chicken could be produced.

  26. Basing upon the evolution theory, the first bird that evolved into what we call a chicken had to come out of an egg. That would make the egg to be first.

    Cheers!

  27. the egg the thing that evolved into the chicken laid the egg

Wait...ur still in school i got out June 16
