  1. Exercise ,believe in yourself, try hard, think positive,everything will be fine.

  2. Remember whenever you set, if you are given a perfect bump, you always need to be aware of how close you are to the net. I have played setter for awhile and wanted to switch to a hitter but I was always aware of where I am on the court and where my sets should be put. Watch where the ball is served or hit, watch when the second player recieves it and judge how far you have to set it and how high. Always make sure your feet are set right, get under the ball, and use your legs to set the ball where it needs to be.

    You may get tons of bad passes but you are the one that really sets up a hitter. It takes time to really judge a volleyball well, but you will have a better week! Always have confidence.

    Good luck for the future. (;

  3. You need two things, a passer and a hitter. Set up a passer to throw you balls from different locations on the court and set for the hitter. Practice makes perfect. Square yourself every time and if you practice enough your muscles will memorize how it feels to get the perfect set. Do not be stagnate on the court either. Always be ready to get to the pass in time to square up and make a complete push with your body and not just your arms and wrists. Hope that helps.

  4. if your sets aren't going where you want them to go, make sure you're squared up to your target before you set.  and make sure you're stopped when you set or your momentum will affect the balls path.  and if you're slow and you want to get quicker, work on sprints. if you want to lose excess weight and sprint work isnt enough, try incorporating sprints into a longer cardio work out, like running for 20 minutes and sprinting every other minute for a minute (or something along those lines).  volleyball is a game of explosive speed and quickness, things that you will not get with long distance cardio.
