  1. so this is -9 minus 9(2g+7)?

Get rid of the parenthesis first. Instead of subtracting 9, change it to plus the opposite of 9, because that's what subtraction is.

    -9 + -9(2g+7)

Now in order to get rid of the parenthesis, you have to multiply the opposite of 9 with both 2g and a positive 7.

    -9 + -18g + -63

    -9 times 2g is -18g.

    -9 times 7 is -63, since a negative times a positive is a negative.

    -18g + -72 = -18g - 72

    So you get -18g + -72, which you can simplify to -18g - 72.

at least that's what I remember and that's what I would do...I haven't had school for a few months.

  2. Umm yeah Im sorry I don't know =|

  3. -9-18g-63

    -72-18g

    i think...

  4. -9-9(2g+7)

    -9 - 18g - 63

    -18g - 72

This is a simplification of the expression, but what is it you want to do other than that?

  5. -9-9(2g+7)= -18(2g+7)

    Next, use the FOIL method:

    -18 x 2g, -18 x 7

    =-36g -126

  6. i could do it for you but what does g mean?

    You use PEMDAS on it.

  7. -18g-72
