My friend wants to get rid of her, but is afraid that he'll lose his job..she constantly threatens him. My friend is living in an apartment with a crazy girl who is now his ex-girlfriend. Both of their names are on the lease. He pays all the bills and she contributes nothing. She threatens to put him out, throw his things out, she puts her hands on him, threatens to call the police, come to his job and get him fired if he decides to leave. He doesn't want to do anything to her so that he doesn't get thrown in jail. Now they are basically roommates. He's tried to leave several times before, but she threatened that if he didn't come home, she would put his things out or come to his job and get him fired. What can he do?

  1. First of all, how is she supposed to get him fired? He should alert his boss so that if this crazy chick tries to come in his building she can be escorted out by security. If there isn't anything like that at his job, he should just tell his boss he's having "personal problems" that might come up at work, but that he is trying his best to avoid them. Second, he should go to the police and get a restraining order on her. She is the one that will have to stay away from him, so regardless that her name is on that lease, if your friend is at home she can't come near him. Then he can do her a favor and put her clothes and stuff outside.

I hate crazy chicks and guys who fall for them. Why can't they like the nice girls?

  2. He needs to call the police every time she hits him, that way there is a paper trail that she is the one assaulting him on multiple occasions. They Will have her removed or arrested if the police have to be called too many times, but on the down side if he calls the police and then keeps letting her come back sooner or later they will both get arrested, the only logical thing he can do is make a paper trail or a police report every time she comes to his job, or a least sit down with his manager, and explain the situation, have the manager write a statement when ever she comes to the job harassing him, if he doesn't want to involve the police every time that way he will have concrete evidence to take her to court to have her removed from the lease. He can then file a restraining order on her or a protection order, and she wont be allowed contact. Also for future reference tell him to stop messing around with crazy women!

  3. Call the police to get it on record.

  4. He should move out ..take every things that's in his name by law. Put a restriction order on her.

  5. He could move out and then take a restraining order out on her for harassment. Unless she had a really good argument, his work would have no reason to fire him.
