Alright, first multiply each side by 7. That eliminates the fraction on the left hand side of the equation and makes it a little easier to look at.

3r=-28

What do you need to do next? Well, you're solving for r, but you currently have three times r. So you need to isolate the variable. How do you do that? Divide both sides by three.

r=-28/3
