1. 4,2,3,2,3,4,2,3,6,1,3,-11,-28,

  2. I Score 96% in my school final ,but I am sorry, you are more than my studies.

  3. Sorry I can't (won't) help you. Perhaps you should consider changing your math program if you need help. I don't know what program you are using but it should have some sort of resource to aid in understanding the concepts. Just getting answers doesn't always help the problem. I heard Teaching Textbooks is good for explaining. Good Luck and don't get discouraged!

  4. You might want to consider switching to Teaching Textbooks. If you don't understand enough to do any of that.

  5. The answer can be either 1.9 or 2.1

    Cheers

  6. It appears like you're looking for a range here...

Here's what to do....For the first one |x|<5, you're looking for an absolute value of x that would be less than 5. An absolute value means that you always take the positive number that x is...i.e. |5| would be 5. |-5| would also be 5.

So x wouldn't be 5 because there's no "equal to" sign (or the bar underneath the < or > sign.) It's also not greater than 5 because that's not an option, therefore, it can be a negative number down to negative infinity, and a positive number up to 5 (i.e. 4.9999).

I'll do another example for you. For number two, you have |x| > (or equal to) 2. So, now you have the "equal to" sign, so the number 2 can be a value of x. Now, it can't be less than 2 because that's not an option, so it can be from 2 all the way up to the highest number greater than 2, which would be positive infinity.

Please keep in mind that I can't guarantee my answers are correct, but I hope I helped!

  7. That's easy, and I could do it for you, but I won't. You need to do your own work.

  8. This question is wrong as:

    |x|≥2

    |x|≤2

    This means |x| =2

But again you are stating that

    |2x| ≥ 6, which means |2*2|≥6 and that is wrong!

Friend you question is wrong, it has no solutions.

  9. How can you be legally homeschooled if you have no teacher/advisor?

Public education is actually pretty fun and it also developes your social skills :D (I am in class right now).

  10. When we see |x|, that means that the absolute value of x. That means that, if it has a negative sign, you get rid of it. So, in an equation, you need to try it out with bot the positive an negative versions of x.

Let's take just a couple representative problems.

    |x|<5

We need to set up 2 problems. One where we use x, one where we use -x (since they become identical when we do absolute value).

    x<5 and -x<5

    x<5, we leave alone

-x<5 we multiply by -1 (remember to switch the < to >)

    x>-5

    So the answer is -5 < x <5

    |x - 2| ≤ 1

Set up 2 problems. The first

    x-2 ≤ 1

    add 2 to both sides

    x ≤ 3

    and the 2nd problem

    -(x - 2) ≤ 1

divide both sides by -1 (remember to switch ≤ to ≥)

    x - 2 ≥ -1

    add 2 to both sides

    x ≥ 1

    So 1 ≤ x ≤ 3
