  1. i'm pretty sure they are parakeets... i have one. i clean his cage once a month. you have to give them fresh fruit. and really make sure that you dont use any aerosol sprays near it.

  2. Lori gave you some very good advie.  Please separate them as they  obviously do not get along.  Try feeding them fruits and veggies ,scrambles eggs, cheese and if they dont eat it right away keep trying   as they may not recognize it as good to eat and good for them.  I cant tell anything about the foot without more information

  3. parrolets i love them

  5. It's an australian scarlett chested parakeet. I used to have one exacly like this. Color and everything, reminds me of my little one that passed away a couple months ago =  ( They are great pets by the way, I had mine from 6th grade all the way to 20 years old.

They eat parakeet food, there is one called something diet in a green bag, mine loved that one. You can also hand feed it corn and peas every now and then as a treat. Plus, they love those granola fruity looking bar things they sell at the pet shops.

It's recommended that you clean their cage once a week, make sure you always check on the water and that it's clean (they love taking baths) I also bought the little tub thing that you fill up with water, so he can drink clean water out of that one.

Why does he need to go to the vet? Is he sick? I never took mine to a vet, he was very healthy and lived a long long happy life. If you are thinking in letting him loose in the house every now and then (they love it) then maybe you can get it's wings clipped at the vet, but that is nothing expensive.

Fighting? If you haveanother bird and they are not getting along then you need to seperate them before one kills the other. Mine came with a parakeet, and it dies shortly after and my Australian seemed way happier for a reason, I guess you can say they are territorial.

As big as you can get lol they love the room to fly around in.

please give it lots of attention, they are awesome birds and I never had one problem with him. If you wanted to you could train it. They are capable of talking and sitting on your shoulder and hand. I would let my bird out once a week or so and when we ate, he would come near and sit right next to us and want some of our food lol they are very funny. He nibbled on my dads toe once. Good luck with your birdie, they are great!
